Zillmere event promotes safety for seniors

THE annual Super Safe Seniors Morning Tea will be held in Zillmere on Thursday, August 24.

The North Brisbane District Crime Prevention Unit is holding the event in conjunction with Zillmere PCYC and North Brisbane Neighbourhood Watch group to celebrate both Seniors Week and Road Safety Week.

There will be presentations on road safety, fraud and scams, and seniors enquiry line services, along with a free morning tea and a performance by the Queensland Police Pipes and Drums.

The event will be held at Zillmere PCYC, 340 Zillmere Road at 9.30am.

Seniors wishing to attend need to book by Friday, August 18 by calling 3364 3313.
