THE Zonta Club of Sandgate is holding its annual fundraising Trivia Night on Saturday, September 2.

Funds raised from this year's event will support the purchase of materials for breast care cushions to be hand made by Zonta Sandgate members and community volunteers.

Zonta Club president Ruthie Adams said, "Breast care cushions are designed to make life post-breast cancer procedures more comfortable for those undergoing treatment.

"Our club has held two successful sewing bees this year and the cushions have been delivered to hospitals to be distributed to those in need of them.”

"As breast cancer affects so many in our communities, more funds are needed to continue making the cushions and Zonta Sandgate is inviting the community to join us for our Trivia night.

"As well as a fun-filled and brain-challenging evening, those attending will be contributing to a worthwhile cause.”

The Trivia Night will be held at Sandgate Community Centre, 153 Rainbow Street at 6 for 6.30pm.

There will be mystery prizes and raffles, snacks and hot drinks, and a bar.

Book by August 26 by contacting Janet on 0411 056 534 or Annette 3269 2720.
