Teen girl, 17, killed, another injured in crash near Grafton

A TEENAGE girl has died and another is in hospital after a crash north west of Grafton.

In a statement, police say the 17-year-old was killed when the Toyota Rav 4 she was driving ran off the road and crashed into a tree on Ramornie Station Road, at Ramornie, between Grafton and Jackadgery, about 6.40pm yesterday.

An 18-year-old girl who was a passenger in the car was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to Grafton Base Hospital "with non-life threatening injuries".
