Sandgate juniors squash competition

THE best young squash players from across the state made their way to Nerang for the Queensland Junior Championships recently, including many of those from Sandgate Squash Centre.

Brisbane Vipers were the overall champions of the competition as their teams were undefeated in each age division.

Of the 38 Vipers players, 16 were from Sandgate Squash including U13 state champions Madison Lyon and Ben Murray.

During the week-long state competition, 24 players were chosen for the Queensland team including Sandgate's state champions Declan Cashman, Luke Eyles, Katie Davies and Ariel Lyon.
