It was alleged the 19-year-old man initially evaded police on the Warrego Highway near Karalee about 9pm on Thursday, after officers tried to stop his vehicle for traffic matters.

The alleged driver was found and taken into custody with the assistance of dog squad and Polair.

No one was injured in the incident.
