Family fun day welcomes refugees

Preparing for the Family Fun Day at Zillmere Community Centre are (from left) Nyay Mau, Maria Maria, Moe Gia, and Paw Shar. They are all from Karen State and have lived in Australia for nine years. They lived in a refugee camp on the border of Thailand from 1990-2009 and are currently on work placement at Zillmere Community Centre. Maria Maria will cook a traditional dish at the Family Fun Day.
